FlashM — Web & PDF Summarizer for Chrome
Summarize the page you’re on—or just the text you highlighted— with one click. Clear, structured results, right in the popup.
Result
- TL;DR — two lines with the gist.
- 6–8 crisp bullets with concrete facts.
- Optional quick tips (Do / Don’t).
What it does
Summarize the current page
Open the popup and get a structured summary tailored to your preset (Executive, Findings, Methods, or Glossary).
Summarize just your selection
Highlight text first, choose “Selection”, then summarize only that part for focused results.
Simple, readable output
Short, concrete bullets without noisy citations—easy to scan and reuse.
Usage at a glance
See your plan and usage right in the popup. Free plan supported.
Private by default
Content is sent to FlashM only when you click Summarize. We don’t sell your data.
Fast setup
Install → Connect → Summarize. Works on most public web pages.

Notes
Permissions are limited to what’s needed: reading page content to extract text, storing your session/usage locally, and optional notifications when a summary finishes. Some special pages (e.g., Chrome Web Store, internal browser pages) cannot be summarized.
If a page is very long, switch to “Selection” and highlight the part you care about. This is faster and keeps results focused.
